FAQs

What is the SimplieFresh Rotating Drainage Basket?

The SimplieFresh Rotating Drainage Basket is a versatile kitchen tool designed to wash, spin, drain, fruits, vegetables, herbs, and pasta—all in one convenient basket. Its innovative rotating design helps remove excess water quickly, making meal prep faster, cleaner, and more efficient.

How does it work?

Simply place your fruits or vegetables into the basket and rinse them under running water. Pump the handle up and down to rotate the basket to spin away excess water. The rotating motion helps dry your produce while keeping everything securely inside the basket.

What foods can I use it for?

The Rotating Drainage Basket is perfect for:

  • Lettuce and leafy greens
  • Spinach and kale
  • Berries
  • Grapes
  • Apples and pears
  • Tomatoes
  • Broccoli and cauliflower
  • Fresh herbs
  • Cooked pasta
  • Beans and legumes
  • Freshly washed vegetables

What is the basket made from?

The SimplieFresh Rotating Drainage Basket is made from durable, food-grade PP (polypropylene), making it lightweight, sturdy, and safe for everyday food preparation.

What is the capacity?

The basket has a 3-quart (approximately 2.8-liter) capacity, making it ideal for everyday family meals, salads, meal prep, and washing larger batches of produce.

Is it BPA-free?

Yes. The basket is manufactured using food-safe materials designed for kitchen use.

Is it dishwasher safe?

For the longest product life, we recommend hand washing with warm water and mild dish soap. Always allow the basket to air dry completely before storing.

Can I use it for hot foods like pasta?

Yes. The basket is great for draining cooked pasta and rinsing vegetables. However, avoid exposing it to extremely high temperatures or placing it directly on a hot stovetop.

Does it save kitchen space?

Yes. Instead of using separate bowls, strainers, and colanders, the SimplieFresh Rotating Drainage Basket combines multiple kitchen tasks into one compact tool, helping reduce clutter and save valuable counter space.

Is it suitable for everyday use?

Definitely. It's designed for daily meal preparation and is lightweight, durable, and easy to use for the whole family.

Is it difficult to operate?

Not at all! The handle is designed for smooth, comfortable operation, making it quick and easy to rinse and remove excess water from your produce.

Does it keep fruits and vegetables from falling out while spinning?

Yes. The basket is designed to securely hold your produce while you rotate it, allowing water to drain away without food spilling out.

Can children use it?

The basket is simple to operate, but we recommend adult supervision whenever children are helping in the kitchen.
